Toddler Program

After your child’s first year, they are usually ready developmentally to move to the Toddler Program where the environment, equipment and activities are designed to further promote cognitive, emotional and physical development. The toddlers spend their days at Young Scholars Academy very busy learning. Children spend their time creating, exploring, listening to music, singing, finger plays and stories. 

Motion Studio (picture below) provides our younger children the opportunity to play in a different environment when the weather does not permit outside play. This room provides a safe environment for younger children to practice climbing stairs, walking on a balance beam, playing in the ball pit, crawling through tunnels., and many more gross motor activites.

Our two year old program, “Explorers,” is designed to accommodate the traits and needs of a child who is growing towards independence. A two-year old is entering the world of change. Physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth is at an all time high so our Child Development Specialists are provided with appropriate resources to promote a readiness for Preschool. Spanish is a daily part of our curriculum in the Explorers program
