Safari A is designed to introduce 4 year- olds to the camp experience and field trips. The children get the opportunity to explore local parks and area attractions. Field trips are planned weekly with the remainder of the time spent in the building participating in fun activities such as sprinkler day, arts and crafts, and team building activities. On field trip days, campers leave the building in the morning and return in time to eat lunch and have a rest time.
Safari B and Safari C are based on ages so that we may plan developmentally appropriate activities for everyone. Generally, Safari B is for our 5, 6, and 7 year olds while Safari C is for campers that are 8 years and older. Both camps will get an opportunity to explore local parks and area attractions, as well as, participate in community open swims. Field trips are planned for each camp Three days a week primarily as half-day trips. When in the building the campers have an opportunity to participate in fun activities including but not limited to team building, arts and crafts, problem solving activities and science experiments and much, much more.
