At approximately 2 1/2 years of age, a unique period of growth happens. A rapid increase in the ability to learn concepts and skills begins to occur. For this "Prepper" group, the capacity of verbal language is multiplying at an accelerating pace. Children of this age respond to intriguing critical thinking activities and is delighted when they complete a task successfully.

At Young Scholars Academy we design "Prepper" environments in response to research that indicates this age group needs easy access to learning materials. Our curriculum is designed to promote discovery and exploration through both busy and quiet play activities.
