The gross motor activities are accommodated with a unique dramatic playroom called Exploration Station and an age appropriate playground. The preschool playground is provided for the children to go outdoors for fresh air daily (weather permitting). The playground utilizes artificial turf and provides a four-foot fall zone around the cement bicycle track. Children have various play materials such as tricycles, wagons and other materials to further develop their gross motor skills. The climber provides children with learning experiences that Child Development Specialists can not teach them. Using the climber also promotes friendships and social interaction, as well as, the gross motor skills. The climber has a ten-foot fall zone around to protect the child while allowing them to perfect gross motor skills.
