Young Scholars Academy sponsors an ambitious summer camp program. Swimming lessons, hiking, bowling, skating, museum and library visits are all included in this well supervised program. Children spend most of the summer away from the center, utilizing many of the different parks, visiting the zoo and even making one visit to an attraction in Pueblo.

Miniture golf, T-ball, kickball and basketball are just some of the different activities children participate in. Exploring the stars at a local planetarium, visiting a museum or going to the dinosaur fossil beds are not only educational and stimulating but also fun.
