Kindergarten

Young Scholars Academy's private full day Kindergarten is available to students who are ready for a new challenge. Our private Kindergarten provides a low student to teacher ratio for optimum learning. Young Scholars Academy provides a bridge between the home experience and the educational program. We help parents increase their understanding of child development. We encourage parents to reinforce and enrich their children's learning through participation in parent and child activities.

Young Scholars Academy offers a balanced program that focuses on the developmental characteristics of Kindergarten children. Since children learn in different ways, the environment was designed to meet their diverse needs. We consider many different factors when planning curriculum, such as their varied learning styles, and the materials available to teach each subject. Quarterly assessments are used to determine what learning has occurred.

Your child will have daily opportunities to choose from a variety of developmental appropriate learning materials that stress meaning and number concepts. The program includes before and after school care, occasional field trips, and challenging levels of experiences to meet the individual needs of our students.
